Pferdewirtschaftsmeister
The highest level of training in Germany. Holders of the Pferdewirtschaftsmeister can run a riding business, train others for the Pferdewirt qualification, ride in dressage and show jumping competitions to at Level S and train horses and riders to at Level S as well. 1992 Markus Watherues finished his German Masters Degree in Horsemanship (Pferdewirtschaftsmeister FN). In 1997 he and his wife took over, the management of his parents´ horse stable and farm "Hof Norwegen". The name of the stable "Hof Norwegen" does not mean you have to drive to Norway to take some lessons by Markus, but, this name comes from an old German dialect Nodderweg, which means Way North. Within the years Nodderweg became Norwegen (Nor= North and wegen=way). Anyhow, since then, Markus has trained more than 20 young Pferdewirte successfully to their degrees. For more than 10 years Markus has a seat within the board of examiners for riding and Pferdewirte. A 3 year training focusing on riding or breeding & stable management. Holders of the Pferdewirt: “Riding” can break in and train young horses, exercise and work older horses and present them in competitions. They are also qualified trainers for novices and more advanced riders. Within his dressage riding career, which is still active, Markus can present several successes in many National and Federal Dressage Championships. As one of his most beautiful and important achievements Markus Waterhues named his success in Redefin 2007 with his dressage horse Don Jos by Donnerhall / M.v. Bonjour Z, where he could achieve a superb 2nd position in Grant Prix Special and of course the 11th place in the German Championships of Professional Riders at Hagen in 2007 . Furthermore, obviously, he likes to mention the many successes with his dressage horse Lokesh by Lord / M.v.Ahorn Z, and especially his 3rd Place at the Dressage Grand Prix - Sonderborg, Denmark - and last bust not least his success within the dressage event of Neumuenster where he achieved a 9th place within the St.Georg Dressage together with his dressage horse Locomotion by Locato / M.v. Markus has started to ride when he was a young boy. Horse breeding and dressage riding were always the favourite traditions within the Waterhues family. He did his apprentenceship for the Pferdewirt at the horse breeding stable of Heinz Dickhoff - Holsen - a formula ex-member of the Westphalia's horse commission, who is a well known horsemanship trainer and breeder of German sport horses.Inhalt Ausbildung & Unterricht
