Individual Dressage Rider Lessons and Dressage Clinics

Mark Waterhues offers individual training courses for  dressage riders up to class S at the highest level "Grand Prix". The instructional content is the performance and objectives of both horse and rider, which have to be constantly adjusted. Using modern analysis techniques, the individual adjustment and verification of the learned, are visualized shown to enhance the learning phase, directly after the riding lessons.

An individual training seminar can be taken from 2 up to 30 days. The best results for personal seminar will be achieved with your own horse, of course. But we also can provide you with some excellent horses during your time to improve your personal dressage riding experiences. Depending to the time of your staying, you will be also able to attend other dressage seminars at the Hof Norwegen, which will be conducted by other professional dressage masters.

Markus Waterhues will also assist you at competitions or compete with your horse at selected dressage events and tournaments, if possible. You can compete with your own horse or you will be delivered with one of the customer horses by Markus Waterhues. However, what ever you will decide, to ride your own horse, let your horse be ridden by a professional horse rider or just join the team for a event in Germany - it will be a day of great pleasure and a new experience for you.

Group Training Seminars

On a regular basis Markus Waterhues and other high qualified dressage master trainers (for e.g. by Christoph Hess - Director of the German Olympic Committee) are doing dressage riding seminars for riders of all skills up to level Grand Prix. These seminars are tailored mainly to the competitive rider who is preparing for upcoming championships both national and international. A seminar takes usually 2 days. External Training Seminars

Markus Waterhues will also do dressage seminars and lessons at your stable. If you like to organize a group dressage riding lesson or individual training within your stable, please contact Markus for further details. Group lessons could be arranged for riders and horses of all skills - from novice up to Grand Prix.

Accomodations for Horse & Riders

If you arrive with your own horse, your horse will be accommodated within one of the 80 large, lighten and freshed air horse boxes within the stables of the Hof Norwegen. Your daily training lessons will be done- depending to the season of the Year - within the 60x20 meters indoor riding arena for dressage training or at the same sized outdoor riding rink for dressage and the 90x40 meter outdoor show jumping rink. Furthermore your horse can relax every day on one of the large grass and sand paddocks to recover from the training.

During your stay at the Hof Norwegen you will be accommodated within one of the modern apartments at the Hof  Norwegen. All apartments are equipped with satellite TV, your own fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, one (Apartment Sweden - Video) and two (Apartment Norway - Video) bed rooms and a washing room with a shower and bath tube. Of course we also can arrange your staying in a hotel within the vicinity of the Hof Norwegen.
